Step 1
Start by locating your MLA ID numbers on your phone. Depending on your device type, looking for the IDs may differ slightly.
On Apple iOS:
Tap Settings.
Select General.
Select About.
On Google Android:
Press the Menu key and select Settings.
Select About Device or About Phone.
Select Hardware Info or Status. If not available, press the Menu key again and choose Advanced.
Step 2
Copy your MLA ID numbers including:
Wi-Fi Address (also known as the Wi-Fi MAC Address).
Bluetooth Address ( (also known as the Bluetooth MAC Address).
IMEI
ICCID
MEID
A potentially easier approach would be to take a screenshot of the above.
Step 3
Please send your MLA ID numbers to remove.me@optoutonline.org. You will receive a confirmation email once your MLA ID numbers have been removed from all participating MLA companies.
From this point onwards, your phone will be undetectable by all participating MLA companies.
